Every robe we make is full length by design — cut to fall between the lower calf and the ankle, not just below the knee like most robes, but no so long that it becomes troublesome. This is what a luxurious robe should offer.

Full length by design — cut to land between the lower calf and the ankle, with a 27-inch sleeve at 3XL. It still reads as a robe at six foot plus, without dragging on the floor.
A robe that stops above the knee leaves your legs to the cold the moment you sit down. Ours are cut to land between the lower calf and the ankle, so the warmth stays where you put it — and the robe stays closed when you curl up.
Where the hem falls depends on your height and the size you choose, so we would rather you not guess. The Find My Size tool on every product page takes your height and weight and recommends a size drawn from thousands of data points and years of customer feedback.
That was the whole idea behind Plush Necessities®: take the robe you never want to give back at the spa, and make one good enough to live in at home — soft enough to crave, tough enough to keep, and priced so it's a treat you can actually justify.
More than 100,000 customers and a shelf of "Best Robe" awards later, our robes are the ones you keep reaching for.
Why our robes took so long
"It took over a year to develop — and it was worth every day. Twenty years later, we still make the exact same robe, designed the way I insisted on from the start: high stitch count, lay-flat seams, pre-washed and ready to wear. Some things you don't improve — you just get right the first time."
Extremely comfortable and warm — a full-length robe perfect for cold winter mornings.
High-quality fleece, generously sized. I used the "find my size" tool and the recommended size was just right.
Finding a robe for my 6'5" husband has always been a challenge! The fabric is so soft — highly recommend buying!
The right weight, the right length, wide enough to wrap around, and soft 100% cotton. I love everything about it!
Perfect weight, long, organic — what's not to love.
My wife absolutely loved this ultra soft robe for Valentine's Day. This robe is great in length.
Here's why they hold up when other robes give out: our robes are sewn with a far higher stitch count than most, with the inner seams finished as smooth as possible — so they don't blow out or rub. They're built to survive the constant wash-and-dry cycles that 5-star hotel and spa robes must, and to keep looking and feeling great for years.
The difference is in the details. Every robe we make gets hours of meticulous tailoring: the inner seams finished as smooth as possible so nothing rubs against your skin, a beautifully trimmed cuff, and every thread, every stitch, and every seam crafted to sit just right. It's the kind of finishing you feel the moment you put it on.
If your robe isn't the softest, most-reached-for robe you own, send it back. No restocking fees, no runaround — just 90-day hassle-free returns and free fast shipping.
Try Our Robes →Measured shoulder to hem: 47" at XXS rising to 56" at 3XL. The Luxe starts at XS and runs 48" to 56". Every size is listed on each product's size chart, along with chest, hip, and sleeve measurements.
Between the lower calf and the ankle for most people — that's what the robes are cut for. Exactly where it lands depends on your height and the size you pick, since the robe lengthens as the sizes go up.
Rather than guess, use the Find My Size tool on any product page: enter your height and weight and it recommends a size drawn from thousands of data points and years of customer feedback.
No — all four styles are full length by design. We'd rather make one robe that covers you properly than a short version that leaves your legs cold. That said, full length means lower calf to ankle, not floor length: it's cut to stay clear of your feet so you're not tripping on it.
XXS is the shortest cut at 47", and it's where to start if you're petite. It will still be a long robe — that's the design — but it's meant to stop above your feet, not pool on the floor. The Luxe doesn't come in XXS, so XS is its shortest. If you're between sizes, the Find My Size tool on the product page will settle it.
Yes. 3XL is 56" shoulder to hem with a 27" sleeve and a 71" chest, which is why it's the size tall shoppers keep coming back for. Size up if you want the hem lower rather than the fit roomier.
